AdventHealth Selects 4medica as Single Source Interoperability Partner to Route Lab and Radiology Data for Hospitals and Outreach Clinics

4medica will integrate AdventHealth’s clinical data to the Epic EHR registration and Beaker laboratory systems for automatic delivery to independent practices

MARINA DEL REY, California—November 24, 20204medica®, a 23-year trusted hospital, lab and physician connectivity network leader, today announced that AdventHealth, one of the nation’s largest faith-based health systems, has selected the company as its single source interoperability partner for routing lab and radiology data to its national network of care sites. AdventHealth facilities will rely on 4medica to deliver the clinical data to primary care physicians and specialists at community practices to inform care decisions ─ and especially in a time when COVID-19 cases are surging nationwide.

The 4medica Perfect Order™ connectivity platform will make the lab and radiology orders, test results and reports data readily available for AdventHealth to transmit to community providers. 4medica’s multi-phased data migration work supports AdventHealth’s transition to the Epic Healthcare Systems electronic health record (EHR), Epic registration and Beaker laboratory systems over the next few years to achieve a single, integrated platform.
