Healthcare commercialization veteran to lead revenue growth across enterprise health systems, publicly funded health initiatives, and ecosystem partnerships.
PASADENA, Calif. – August 27, 2026 – 4medica®, a leader in healthcare identity management, interoperability, and whole-person care solutions, today announced the appointment of Martin Cody as Senior Vice President of Sales and Growth. Cody will lead commercial strategy and revenue growth across all lines of the company’s business, including enterprise health systems, publicly funded health initiatives, and the ecosystem of technology and referral partners that extend 4medica’s reach across the industry.
Cody brings nearly four decades of healthcare commercialization experience spanning healthcare technology, provider data, medical device, interoperability, revenue cycle management, and enterprise software. He has held executive leadership positions with DataBiologics, Madaket Health, Pulsara, Intermedix, Aprima, and Allscripts, working extensively with hospitals, health systems, physician organizations, health plans, ACOs, and healthcare technology companies to navigate complex operational and data-related change management challenges.
“We’ve spent more than twenty years proving that clean, connected data is foundational to safer, better-run healthcare organizations. Now we’re ready to put that proof in front of a much larger market – more enterprise health systems, more publicly funded health initiatives, and a deeper bench of technology and referral partners who can extend our reach faster than we could alone. Martin has built exactly that kind of commercial engine before, and he understands that in a market still learning what data quality is worth, education has to come before the sale. He’s the right leader to scale 4medica into its next chapter of growth,” said Gregg Church, President and CEO of 4medica.
The appointment comes as healthcare organizations across every segment confront the same underlying question: whether the data driving their clinical, financial, and operational decisions can be trusted. This is especially true of the accuracy of their patient identity index. Health systems consolidating onto enterprise platforms depend on accurate patient identity to make consolidation efficient and timely. Health information exchanges and community information exchanges rely on connected care across clinical and community settings, and those networks succeed or fail on record accuracy. At the same time, growing policy attention to health data quality is prompting organizations to examine measurement and matching standards they have long taken for granted.
“Trusted healthcare data is no longer an IT priority – it is an enterprise imperative. As CMS moves toward digital quality measurement, hospitals, health systems, and ACOs will increasingly be measured, reimbursed, and evaluated based on the integrity of their data. Organizations that get it right improve patient safety, financial performance, and enterprise value. Those that get it wrong face clinical risk, denied claims, and revenue leakage. 4medica has the technology and the track record to solve this at scale. My mandate is to help healthcare leaders quantify the cost of inaccurate data and act before it becomes a clinical, financial, or valuation event,” said Cody.
Cody is widely recognized for his ability to connect strategy, execution, and relationship ecosystems to create sustainable growth. His leadership philosophy centers on trust, transparency, operational discipline, and helping organizations unlock the full value of their data and technology investments. He is also an active investor and advisor focused on artificial intelligence, healthcare technology, and emerging growth companies, with particular interest in how trusted data, human judgment, and intelligent systems work together to create transformational business outcomes.
