Oleg Bess, M.D.

Chairman of the Board & Chief Executive Officer

Oleg Bess, M.D., is a founder and chief executive officer of 4medica. He leads the 4medica leadership team and the company’s product development strategy across inpatient, ambulatory and other new care settings to meet demand for affordable and rapidly deployable cloud-based interoperability and connectivity solutions.
With a quarter century of healthcare experience, Dr. Bess has spent the last 20 years honing his development and leadership expertise in informatics while maintaining his 25-year-old OB/GYN practice in Los Angeles. A board certified OB/GYN physician, he is a nationally recognized gynecological and laparoscopic surgeon.
Dr. Bess is a member of several medical societies including the American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA). He earned a bachelor of science degree in zoology from Louisiana State University (LSU) and a doctorate degree at LSU Medical School Medical Center in New Orleans. Dr. Bess completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at LSU – Charity Hospital in New Orleans and fellowship training in laparoscopic reproductive surgery at the Society of Reproductive Surgeon/ Endoscopic Gynecologic Surgery, Center for Pelvic Health.

Gregg Church

President

Gregg Church is President of 4medica with 20-plus years of health IT experience. Since joining 4medica in 2010, Church has held rising positions leading the company to continued success in its 20-year transformational role in laboratory services, from its industry-first cloud-based integration platform to drive EHR adoption to launching innovative clinical data exchange and enterprise master patient index technologies that improve patient safety, operational sustainability and profitability for diverse healthcare organizations. He is a tireless advocate of the national need to reduce patient duplicate records across disparate systems to less than 1 percent.
Church represents 4medica in championing reform initiatives that achieve health IT interoperability, a nationwide patient identifier and matching standardization strategy, and the Clinical Lab 2.0 global movement to redefine laboratory value.
Church regularly speaks and hosts roundtables at regulatory and industry conferences, events and public policy think tanks involved in shaping the framework for patient identification and matching, such as: PEW Charitable Trusts’ Patient Demographic Expert Group, AHIMA, ONC, GAO, HIMSS, SHIEC, eHealth Initiative and Foundation (eHI), the State Healthcare IT Connect Summit, Connecting Michigan for Health Conference, Executive War College and Lab Quality Confab.
Church earned a bachelor of science degree in marketing and a bachelor of music degree from the University of Colorado in Boulder.

Amy Muradyan, MBA

Chief Financial Officer

4medica’s Chief Financial Officer, Amy Muradyan, brings 20+ years of experience in finance and accounting. Prior to joining 4medica, she focused on developing financial strategy and business plans for established businesses needing reorganizing or startups needing a strong base. Her work has included recognizable large advertising campaigns for Hilton Hotels, Toyota Prius, United Airlines, American Airlines, Hershey Chocolate, and other known brands where image and customer awareness must be elevated and maintained.
Amy has earned a B.S. in accounting from Woodbury University and an executive MBA from Loyola University. Her education combined with her work experience has given Amy a unique experience into the world of international business and creative technical industries. The biggest obstacle in any business is taking care of the technical complications, and Amy excels at tackling those problems while keeping the company’s creative vision intact.

Muthu Kuttalingam, MBA

Senior Vice President of Product Development and Technology

An IT industry veteran with over 25 years of experience, Mr. Kuttalingam brings to the Senior Vice President of Product Development and Technology role a deep knowledge of global information systems management, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process improvements, cloud native and distributed software architecture, design and development, and business-to-business (B2B) systems integration. Additionally, his expertise includes building and managing software teams across diverse industries such as healthcare, financial, pharmaceutical and biotech.
Mr. Kuttalingam earned a bachelor’s degree from India-based Birla Institute of Technology and Science; a master’s degree from Louisiana Tech University, Ruston, Louisiana; and an MBA degree from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in Glendale, Arizona.

Alex Kasman

Vice President of Lab Technology/Compliance Officer

Mr. Kasman has over 30 years of experience in systems planning, application development and system integration across financial, healthcare and telecommunications industries. He is one of the original founders of 4medica. His current responsibilities include integration between disparate healthcare systems and security & privacy of information stored in computing environments.
Mr. Kasman received a MS in Computer Science from CSUN, and a BS in Mathematics and Computer Science from UCLA.

Kim Storfer

Director of Health Data Quality Consulting

Kim Storfer has over 20 years of experience in healthcare data management including data source onboarding. As Director of Data Quality Consulting, Kim leads initiatives assisting clients, including accountable care organizations (ACOs) and health information exchanges (HIEs), streamline the company’s Health Data Quality Management and Interoperability Solutions. She further addresses the healthcare market’s accelerated demand for integrating and normalizing multiple disparate data sources into a single clinically structured patient-centric record through the 4-step 4medica Health Data Quality Consulting program.
